Reviews and Ratings
The hotel's location was the only good thing as it was the whole reason we chose this place. The rooms were very worn and tired, needing a good deep clean and refurbishment, but they were well decorated with an enormous double bed. The service, although very helpful and friendly, left much to be desired due to management issues. The dining experience was very disappointing with cold and poor quality food. Despite the location being convenient and in the center of town, the overall standards were not up to 21st-century standards. However, coming back to a warm welcome by the staff and charming town of Thetford was a highlight.
The hotel is in a superb location in the town center, allowing easy exploration on foot. The rooms, although generally well-equipped, needed better cleaning upon arrival and some maintenance. The service was good overall, with attentive staff. However, the dining experience had some issues during meals. The central location was a definite plus for sightseeing and walks by the river.
